Videokabel-adapter ShiverPeaks BS10-72045

The ShiverPeaks BS10-72045 is a 3 m video cable adapter with a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI connection designed to transmit high-quality video and audio from devices with Mini DisplayPort outputs to HDMI displays. It provides a single-cable solution for connecting laptops, desktops or projectors to TVs, monitors and external displays. The cable's 3 metre length and black colour offer flexibility in placement and a neutral appearance that fits most environments.

Advantages

This Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter supports both video and audio transmission through a single cable, reducing the need for multiple connectors. The 3 m length gives additional reach for desktop and meeting-room setups where the source and display are not adjacent. Its straightforward plug-and-play design ensures easy connection without software installation. The black outer jacket provides a discreet look and basic protection for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktops with Mini DisplayPort output to HDMI monitors and TVs
• Presentations and meeting-room setups with projectors or large displays
• Home entertainment systems where a computer is used as a media source
• Temporary workstation arrangements requiring an external display at a distance

Key specifications

• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort
• Connector 2: HDMI
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video and audio transmission

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source device's Mini DisplayPort socket and the HDMI end to the display's HDMI input. Select the correct input on the display device and, if necessary, configure the display settings on the source device to extend or duplicate the desktop and adjust resolution. No driver installation is typically required; modern operating systems will detect the external display automatically.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the cable with devices that explicitly support Mini DisplayPort audio output if audio is required. Avoid sharp bends and heavy tension on the cable; route it to minimize stress on connectors. If you experience resolution or detection issues, check the source device's display output settings and try a different HDMI input on the display.
