Virtual-reality-headset Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD (zwart) — hoge resolutie display, groot gezichtsveld

Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD (black) is a virtual reality headset engineered for users who need high perceived pixel density and an expansive field of view. The headset implements the 50PPD optical specification to deliver finer details and improved image clarity compared with lower‑PPD designs. Its black finish and ergonomic form factor are intended to fit a range of head shapes while maintaining stable optical alignment for gaming, simulation and professional visualization tasks.

Advantages

The 50PPD optical design provides a notable increase in perceived sharpness, reducing visible pixel structure and enabling clearer text and small object rendering in VR scenes. A wide field of view enhances situational awareness and immersion by expanding the visible scene, which benefits fast‑paced experiences and spatial training. The headset’s build emphasizes optical performance and comfort to support longer sessions without frequent repositioning.

Suitable for

• High‑detail gaming and VR simulations
• Architectural visualization and product design reviews
• Professional training, medical and industrial simulations
• Flight, driving and other vehicle simulators requiring wide FOV
• Developers testing fine visual assets and UI elements in VR

Key specifications

• Optical specification: 50 perceived pixels per degree (PPD) for higher visual definition
• Field of view: wide FOV design to increase visible scene and immersion
• Color and finish: black exterior housing
• Ergonomics: adjustable headstrap and facial interface designed for extended use
• Connectivity: connects to compatible PCs and VR content platforms (via supported interfaces and cables)
• Usage scenarios: designed for gaming, simulation, visualization and professional applications

How to use

Connect the headset to a compatible PC following the manufacturer’s connection guidelines and install any required drivers or platform software. Adjust the headstrap and facial interface for a comfortable, light‑blocking fit and use the built‑in optical adjustments to achieve the sharpest focus and alignment for your eyes. Launch supported VR applications and calibrate tracking and display settings within the VR platform to match your environment and performance needs.

Recommendations

For the best visual clarity, use high‑resolution content and ensure your PC meets recommended graphics performance levels. Allow short breaks during extended sessions to reduce eye strain and regularly clean the lenses and facial interface with appropriate, non‑abrasive materials. When using in professional or training environments, verify tracking setup and room boundaries before each session.
