Wandmontage afgeschermde netwerkdoos GEMBIRD Gniazdo natynkowe 2×RJ45 Cat6A FTP

The GEMBIRD Wall-Mounted Shielded Network Outlet is a surface-mounted faceplate with two RJ45 ports designed for Category 6A (Cat6A) FTP cabling. It supports high-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps and is intended for installations that require shielded connections to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure stable LAN and PoE powering. The outlet is suitable for offices, server rooms and home networks where running cabling on a surface rather than inside walls is necessary.

Advantages

This shielded network outlet provides improved protection against external interference thanks to FTP (foil) screening, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher data rates. Dual RJ45 ports allow two independent network connections from a single surface point, simplifying device placement and cabling. The Cat6A rating ensures compatibility with 10 Gigabit Ethernet and backward compatibility with lower categories, while the surface-mounted design facilitates installation where in-wall mounting is not feasible.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the outlet on a suitable flat surface using screws and anchors appropriate for the mounting substrate. Terminate the incoming FTP network cable onto the keystone/module or termination points following standard Cat6A wiring (T568A or T568B) and ensure the foil shield is properly connected to the outlet’s grounding point to maintain shielding continuity. After termination, connect Ethernet devices using standard RJ45 patch cables. Verify link speed and PoE functionality with network testing tools or the connected equipment.

Recommendations

Use quality Cat6A FTP cable and maintain correct grounding of the shield for best performance. Keep cable runs within recommended length limits for 10 Gbps Ethernet and avoid sharp bends near the termination. When installing in environments with strong electromagnetic sources, verify shield continuity and test network throughput after installation.
