Warmtebeeldkijker PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 PRO — 50-mm-objectief, 640×480-resolutie

PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 PRO is a thermal imaging scope with a 50 mm objective and a 640×480 thermal sensor, engineered for long-range observation and accurate target detection. This optic integrates a laser rangefinder and delivers high-contrast thermal imagery for day and night use, allowing clear identification of warm objects against varied backgrounds. The housing and controls are designed for field operation, supporting extended surveillance, hunting, and search tasks where reliable thermal performance and range measurement are required.

Advantages

The scope combines a large-aperture 50 mm objective with a 640×480 resolution sensor to provide improved detection range and image detail compared with smaller optics. The built-in laser rangefinder enables quick distance measurement to targets, simplifying holdover and engagement decisions. Durable construction and user-oriented controls ensure consistent operation in outdoor conditions, while the thermal imaging capability works independently of visible light, making it suitable for full-night use and low-visibility environments.

Suitable for

• Long-range hunting and game detection
• Search and rescue operations in low light or darkness
• Perimeter and property surveillance
• Wildlife observation and monitoring

Key specifications

• Objective lens diameter: 50 mm
• Thermal sensor resolution: 640 × 480 pixels
• Integrated laser rangefinder for distance measurement
• High-contrast thermal imaging for day and night use
• Ergonomic controls and field-ready housing

How to use

Mount the thermal scope securely according to the mounting interface of your weapon or spotting platform, then switch the unit on and allow the sensor to stabilize. Use the eyepiece to acquire the scene and adjust focus and image parameters for optimal clarity. Activate the laser rangefinder when distance information is required and follow on-screen or reticle indications to read the measured range. Adjust magnification as needed to identify targets at various distances and record or mark positions using any supported built-in functions.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, keep the objective lens and sensor area free of debris and moisture, and store the unit in a dry, temperature-stable environment when not in use. Use the built-in rangefinder alongside the thermal image to confirm target distance before making engagement decisions. Follow manufacturer instructions for battery management and firmware updates to maintain accuracy and reliability.
