WESTERN DIGITAL Sandisk Imagemate Pro USB-C kaartlezer/schrijver

The SanDisk ImageMate PRO USB-C Multi-Card Reader/Writer is a high-performance card reader compatible with SD and microSD cards (UHS-II, UHS-I and non-UHS) and CompactFlash cards (up to UDMA 7). It connects via a USB 3.0 interface with backward compatibility to USB 2.0, enabling fast transfers and broad computer compatibility with Windows and Mac systems.

Advantages

This multi-card reader supports a wide range of formats including SDHC, SDXC, microSD and CompactFlash. It delivers professional transfer speeds of up to 312 MB/s for SD and microSD cards and up to 160 MB/s for CompactFlash cards, improving workflow efficiency. The USB 3.0 connection enables up to 10× faster transfers compared with USB 2.0 when used in a USB 3.0 port, while still working with older USB 2.0 ports.

Key specifications

• Supported card types: SD (UHS-II, UHS-I, non-UHS), microSD (UHS-II, UHS-I, non-UHS), CompactFlash (up to UDMA 7)
• Maximum transfer speed: up to 312 MB/s (SD and microSD)
• Maximum transfer speed: up to 160 MB/s (CompactFlash)
• Interface: USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Compatible systems: Windows and macOS

How to use

Connect the reader to a computer using a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port, insert the compatible card into the matching slot, and access files through the operating system’s file manager. For maximum transfer speeds, use a USB 3.0 port and UHS-II SD or microSD cards; CompactFlash cards up to UDMA 7 will use the CompactFlash slot. No additional drivers are required for most modern Windows and macOS versions.

Recommendations

To achieve the stated high transfer speeds, use UHS-II SD or microSD cards and connect the reader to a USB 3.0 port on a Windows or Mac computer. If you need compatibility with older systems, the device remains functional on USB 2.0 ports with lower transfer rates.
