WLAN-antenne Extralink Gigaeter Duo 19 5 GHz 19 dBi — richtantenne voor buiten

The Extralink Gigaeter Duo 19 is a directional outdoor WiFi antenna designed for the 5 GHz frequency band and offering 19 dBi gain. It is built to extend wireless coverage for point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) links, improving signal range and link stability for wireless bridges, customer premises equipment (CPE) and outdoor routers. The antenna features a weather‑resistant enclosure and includes mounting hardware suitable for installation on masts and poles to provide reliable outdoor coverage.

Advantages

The antenna’s 19 dBi gain and directional design concentrate RF energy to increase link distance and reduce interference from off‑axis sources. Its weather‑resistant construction supports long‑term outdoor deployment, while the included mounting kit simplifies installation on vertical or horizontal masts. The unit is compatible with typical 5 GHz network devices used in fixed wireless links and improves overall link stability and throughput by optimizing antenna directivity.

Suitable for

• Establishing point‑to‑point wireless links between buildings
• Extending point‑to‑multipoint coverage for outdoor CPE installations
• Improving signal strength and stability for outdoor routers and bridges
• Deployments requiring focused coverage and reduced interference in the 5 GHz band

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 5 GHz
• Gain: 19 dBi
• Radiation pattern: directional
• Application: outdoor point‑to‑point and point‑to‑multipoint links
• Enclosure: weather‑resistant for outdoor use
• Mounting: mast/pole mounting hardware included

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable mast or pole using the provided mounting hardware, orienting the main lobe toward the remote antenna or coverage area for optimal performance. Connect the antenna to a compatible 5 GHz radio, CPE or router using an appropriate coaxial cable and RF connector, observing recommended cable length and loss considerations. Verify alignment and link quality with the connected device’s signal measurements, and tighten mounts and connectors to secure the installation against wind and weather.

Recommendations

Place the antenna with clear line of sight to the remote station whenever possible, maintain proper grounding and lightning protection, and use low‑loss, weather‑rated RF cable and connectors for outdoor runs to preserve signal strength and long‑term reliability.
