How to use

Connect the Zyxel GS1200-5 to your network by plugging Ethernet cables into the RJ-45 ports and power the unit with the specified 5 V DC adapter. Access the web-based setup wizard from a browser on the same network to perform initial configuration, including IP settings, VLAN creation, QoS rules, IGMP snooping and link aggregation. Use the management interface to save configuration backups and apply firmware updates as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the switch in a ventilated location free from direct heat sources. When deploying multicast services, enable IGMP snooping and configure VLANs to separate traffic types.
