19 inch legbord Triton RAB-UP-250-A4 1U 250mm kunststof zwart

The Triton 19" shelf RAB-UP-250-A4 is a 1U, 250 mm deep black plastic shelf designed for installation in standard 19-inch equipment racks. It provides a stable horizontal platform for mounting non-rackmountable devices, accessories and small network equipment. The shelf's reinforced plastic construction delivers a balance of light weight and structural rigidity while the black finish integrates visually with common server-room and telecom rack environments.

Advantages

This 1U shelf offers a compact footprint that saves rack space while supporting a variety of items that cannot be mounted directly in rack rails. The plastic material resists corrosion and reduces electrical conductivity compared with bare metal shelves, contributing to safer placement of sensitive equipment. Installation is simple and requires no special tools when aligned with standard rack mounting points. The open-front and low-profile design allow unobstructed airflow and easier access to cables and connectors.

Suitable for

• Placement of small switches, patch panels, power supplies and network accessories
• Temporary or permanent support for hard drives, modems, and testing equipment
• Use in data centers, server rooms, small office racks and telecom cabinets

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack shelf
• Depth: 250 mm
• Material: reinforced plastic
• Color: black
• Mounting: for 19-inch racks
• Finish: matte
• Application: supports non-rackmount devices and accessories

How to use

Mount the shelf into the 1U position of a standard 19-inch rack by aligning the shelf’s mounting holes with the rack’s vertical rails and fastening with compatible rack screws or cage nuts. Place equipment evenly across the shelf surface to maintain balance and avoid overloading. Leave clearance at the front and rear for cabling and airflow. For devices with feet or uneven bases, use small anti-slip pads or straps to secure items to the shelf and prevent movement during maintenance.

Recommendations

Verify the weight of devices before installation and consult rack load specifications to avoid exceeding the load capacity of the 1U shelf and the overall rack unit. Position heat-generating equipment where airflow is adequate and avoid blocking ventilation paths. Periodically check mounting hardware for tightness and inspect the shelf for signs of stress or deformation.
