2-power 2P-H000057800 - dvd-station - 39,6 cm (15,6) - WXGA

Built for notebooks with a 15.6-inch WXGA display, this 2-POWER 2P-H000057800 optical drive swaps into a standard 9.5 mm slim SATA bay without adapters or extra brackets. It reads and writes both DVD and CD media, including dual-layer DVD±R and DVD-RAM, so you can archive large projects, load legacy software, or play movies on the go.

Highlights

• Internal slimline DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM writer with SATA interface
• 9.5 mm height matches most laptop optical drive slots
• Tray-load mechanism for easy disc handling
• 24x CD and 8x DVD read speeds keep everyday tasks quick
• 2 MB buffer helps prevent buffer underrun errors

In daily use

Slide the drive into the bay, secure it with the original screw, and the system recognises it as a standard SATA device. Write speeds reach 8x for DVD±R, 6x for DVD±RW and dual-layer DVD±R DL, and 5x for DVD-RAM. CD burning tops out at 24x for both CD-R and CD-RW. Average access times of 180 ms for DVD and 150 ms for CD mean responsive file browsing and playback.
