2-voudige SAT-verdeler ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 5–2400 MHz met DC-doorlaat

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2-way SAT Splitter is designed to divide a single satellite or antenna feed into two outputs while maintaining a wide operational frequency range from 5 to 2400 MHz. It features DC pass capability, enabling power to be supplied through the splitter to active LNBs or inline amplifiers without interrupting the RF signal. The compact, purpose-built unit is intended for installations where a single dish or antenna must feed two tuners, receivers, or distribution lines with minimal signal degradation.

Advantages

The splitter covers a broad frequency range suitable for satellite and terrestrial signals and supports DC pass so remote powering of LNBs or amplifiers is possible. Its 2-way configuration provides balanced signal division for two downstream devices. The device is designed for straightforward inline installation and is compatible with common F-type coaxial connections used in satellite and TV systems.

Suitable for

• Splitting a satellite dish feed to two receivers or tuners
• Feeding both a receiver and an inline amplifier while supplying DC power
• Home or small commercial antenna distribution where two outputs are required

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 5–2400 MHz
• Splitter type: 2-way
• DC pass: supported (power pass-through for active LNBs or amplifiers)
• Connector type: F-type coaxial compatible
• Application: satellite and antenna signal distribution

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable from the satellite dish or antenna to the splitter's input port, then connect the two output ports to the downstream receivers, tuners, or distribution cables. If power feeding is required, ensure the power source is connected at the receiver or distribution device that provides DC to the line; the splitter will pass DC to the remote LNB or amplifier. Verify tight, corrosion-free connections and avoid overtightening. Test signal levels after installation to confirm adequate reception on both outputs.

Recommendations

Place the splitter in a dry, ventilated location away from direct moisture and extreme temperatures. Use quality coaxial cables and properly grounded installations to minimize interference and ensure safety. If signal loss is a concern over long cable runs, consider low-loss cables or an inline amplifier compatible with DC pass functionality.
