2-weg luidspreker Hercules Monitor 5 80 W

The Hercules Monitor 5 is a 2-way wired speaker with a 5-inch (12.7 cm) woofer and 80 W RMS power, designed for DJing, music production and multimedia creation. It delivers a frequency response from 50 to 20,000 Hz for accurate reproduction across lows, mids and highs. The compact, black enclosure and front-mounted controls make it suitable for desktop setups, small studios and home multimedia use.

Advantages

Front-mounted controls include an on/off button with LED and a volume knob for convenient, ergonomic operation. Rear HF and LF adjustment switches let you tailor high- and low-frequency response to the room or setup. Dual front bass-reflex ports allow flexible placement — laid flat, standing upright or stacked — while the wired inputs (RCA, TRS 6.35 mm and XLR) provide compatibility with computers, sound cards, DJ gear, mixers and TVs.

How to use

Place the speaker on a stable surface or stand in the desired orientation (flat, upright or stacked). Connect an audio source using RCA, TRS or XLR inputs and power the unit. Use the front volume knob to set listening level and the rear HF/LF switches to adjust treble and bass to suit the room acoustics. Turn the front on/off button to power the speaker and observe the LED status indicator.

Recommendations

For accurate monitoring, position the speakers at ear height and form an equilateral triangle with the listening position when using a pair. Use the HF/LF switches to reduce bass in small rooms or increase highs in absorptive environments. Avoid placing the speakers directly against a wall to minimize low-frequency buildup.
