3,5 mm haakse stereostekker Voltcraft XL-AC35SW, zwart

The Voltcraft XL-AC35SW 3.5 mm right-angle stereo connector in black is a compact audio plug designed for reliable signal transmission in tight spaces. The angled housing reduces cable protrusion and helps prevent strain where devices sit close to walls, dashboards, or inside enclosures. Constructed for standard stereo connections, it mates with common 3.5 mm jacks on headphones, portable audio players, car stereos and similar devices.

Advantages

The right-angle form factor lowers the profile of a connected cable and reduces bending stress at the connector, which can extend cable life and improve mechanical reliability. The stereo configuration maintains left and right channel separation for clear two-channel audio. The black finish offers a neutral appearance that blends with most devices and cables. The connector is suitable for applications requiring a space-saving interface without altering the standard 3.5 mm connection.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones to portable players and smartphones where space behind the device is limited
• Audio input/output connections in car stereos and in-dash installations
• Routing cables in rack-mounted or enclosed equipment to reduce stress on jacks
• Temporary or permanent replacement of straight 3.5 mm plugs to change cable orientation

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm stereo (TRS) right-angle plug
• Orientation: 90-degree angled housing to reduce cable protrusion
• Channels: Two-channel stereo (left and right)
• Finish: Black outer housing
• Compatibility: Standard 3.5 mm female jacks on consumer audio equipment

How to use

Align the 3.5 mm right-angle plug with the device’s female jack and insert straight until it seats firmly. The angled housing should position the cable parallel to the device surface, reducing bend radius at the entry point. For installations in vehicles, enclosures or tight spaces, confirm the connector is fully seated and that the cable routing does not cause additional tension on the plug. If used as a replacement plug for a cable, follow appropriate soldering or assembly steps for the specific cable type and observe polarity for left and right channels.

Recommendations

To maximize longevity, avoid repeated sharp bends directly at the connector and secure the cable near the device to reduce strain. Inspect the plug periodically for wear or loose connections and replace if audio quality is affected by noise or intermittent contact.
