3,5 mm naar 2 x RCA stereoadapter ShiverPeaks 57090

The ShiverPeaks 3.5mm to 2 x RCA Stereo Connector ShiverPeaks 57090 is a compact adapter designed to link devices with a 3.5mm stereo output to audio systems that accept left and right RCA inputs. The adapter features a black housing and nickel-plated contacts that provide reliable electrical contact and resistance to corrosion, supporting clear signal transfer for music, speech, and line-level audio sources. Its small footprint makes it convenient for portable use and for tidy connections in home and professional audio setups.

Advantages

Nickel-plated contacts improve conductivity and reduce oxidation, helping preserve audio signal integrity. The compact, lightweight design simplifies installation and transport while the stereo 3.5mm to RCA wiring preserves channel separation for accurate left/right reproduction. The black finish provides a discreet appearance when used with consumer electronics or studio gear.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, laptops or portable players to amplifiers and receivers with RCA inputs
• Linking computer sound outputs to stereo systems or powered speakers
• Temporary connections for DJ setups, small PA systems, or multimedia presentations

Key specifications

• Connector A: 3.5mm stereo (male)
• Connector B: 2 x RCA (male), left and right
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Colour: black housing
• Signal type: analog stereo line-level audio
• Form factor: compact, lightweight adapter

How to use

Insert the 3.5mm plug into the headphone or line output of the source device. Connect the two RCA plugs into the corresponding left (usually white) and right (usually red) RCA input jacks on the target amplifier, receiver, or speaker. Ensure both devices are powered appropriately and set input selection on the receiving device to the RCA input used. Adjust volume levels on source and destination to avoid clipping or excessive noise.

Recommendations

For best results, use with line-level outputs rather than microphone-level or instrument-level sources. Avoid excessive bending near the connector to reduce strain on the cable and contacts. If intermittent signal or noise occurs, check connections and clean contacts if necessary; replace if physical damage is visible.
