3M Scotch-Brite oppervlakteviltschijf 125 mm Very Fine aluminiumoxide klittenband blauw (65336)

Metalworkers and finishers reach for this 3M Scotch-Brite disc when they need to clean, blend, or put a final finish on steel, aluminium, or other metals without changing part dimensions. The 125 mm non-woven disc mounts quickly on a hook-and-loop backup pad and runs up to 12,000 RPM on a right-angle grinder or sander.

Why choose it

The open, non-woven web resists loading and delivers a consistent finish across the life of the disc. Aluminium oxide abrasive cuts fast yet leaves a uniform scratch pattern, making it a solid choice for light deburring, oxide removal, and surface preparation before coating or plating.

Ideal use cases

• Cleaning weld discolouration and heat tint
• Blending scratches and surface imperfections
• Preparing metal for paint, powder coat, or adhesive
• Finishing stainless steel, aluminium, and composites

Good to know

Use with a 125 mm hook-and-loop backup pad on a variable-speed grinder. For best results, keep the disc flat against the workpiece and use light pressure—let the abrasive do the work.
