The INSYS icom MRX5 LTE is an industrial 4G router designed for secure, high-availability remote connectivity in automation, energy, transport and other critical applications. The MRX5 LTE provides Fast Ethernet LAN (10/100 Mbps), an integrated LTE modem with fallback to 3G (HSPA+, UMTS) and 2G (EDGE, GPRS), two digital inputs and a flexible hardware platform that can be extended with additional MRcards. The device supports routing protocols and enterprise security features to create redundant WAN links, resilient VPNs and centrally managed network access.

How to use

Insert a compatible SIM card into the Ethernet WAN SIM slot or the cellular SIM slot as required and connect Ethernet cables to the LAN/WAN ports. Access the web-based management interface to configure network addressing, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) and security settings including IPSec tunnels and RADIUS authentication. Use the two digital inputs to monitor external signals or integrate basic control functions with connected PLCs.
