Aansluitdoos Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM18

The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM18 connection box is a compact indoor junction box in black, designed to organize and protect camera and sensor connections in surveillance installations. With a low-profile form factor and moderate weight capacity, it provides a neat mounting solution for smaller dome and bullet cameras, preventing cable strain and concealing terminal blocks while maintaining easy access for installation and maintenance.

Advantages

This connection box combines a slim profile with a sturdy construction suitable for indoor CCTV environments. Its compact diameter and shallow height make it unobtrusive when mounted on walls or ceilings, while the 4.5 kg maximum load capacity ensures compatibility with many lightweight cameras. The box helps to reduce cable exposure and provides a clean appearance for professional security setups.

Suitable for

• Indoor mounting of compact dome and bullet cameras
• Organizing power and signal cables in surveillance systems
• Concealing terminal connections for a tidy installation
• Low-profile installations where shallow depth is required

• Maximum supported load: 4.5 kg
• Diameter: 11.1 cm
• Width: 141.7 mm
• Height (depth): 37 mm

How to use

Mount the connection box at the chosen indoor location on a solid surface, ensuring the mounting surface can support the combined weight of the box and the camera up to the specified 4.5 kg. Route power and video/data cables into the box through the appropriate entry points, make the necessary terminal connections or cable splices inside, and secure the camera above or to the box as required by the camera's mounting interface. After connections are complete, close the box to protect terminations and test the camera for correct operation.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable installations, confirm that the camera and any additional accessories do not exceed the box's 4.5 kg load capacity. Use suitable cable glands or sealants if the installation site requires improved cable strain relief or dust protection even in indoor settings. Regularly inspect connections during maintenance to ensure secure terminations and correct positioning.
