How to use

Install the Jung KNX Mini Universal in a suitable ceiling or wall location following KNX installation guidelines and local electrical regulations. Connect the device to the KNX bus and configure its parameters with KNX commissioning software to set detection zones, timing functions and presence messages that will be transmitted on the bus. Once configured, use presence signals from the sensor in your KNX logic to switch lights, modify HVAC setpoints or trigger predefined scenes according to occupancy.

Recommendations

Position the sensor to provide unobstructed coverage of the monitored area and avoid mounting near heat sources or strong air flows that could affect detection reliability. During commissioning, verify detection range and sensitivity in typical occupancy conditions and adjust KNX parameters accordingly to minimize false triggers while ensuring timely response to actual presence.
