ABB ESB100-40N-06 installatiecontactor 4S/0OE, 230 V AC/DC, 4 NO, 100 A 1SAE661111R0640

Switching heavy single-phase or multi-phase loads in residential and commercial installations often requires a contactor that can handle high currents while being easy to mount and wire. The ABB ESB100-40N-06 installation contactor provides four normally open main contacts, a wide coil voltage range, and DIN rail mounting to simplify control of lighting, heating, and motor circuits.

Who is it for

Electricians, panel builders, and facility managers who need a reliable, compact contactor for switching loads up to 100 A in AC-1 duty. It suits distribution boards, control cabinets, and building automation systems where space is limited and performance must be consistent.

Main features

• 4 main contacts, all normally open (4 NO), for switching up to 4 separate circuits or combining poles for higher current.
• Coil voltage 230 V AC/DC, allowing operation from both AC and DC control signals without changing the coil.
• Rated operational current 100 A in AC-1 and AC-7a categories at 400 V, 55 °C; 30 A in AC-7b for motor loads.
• Rated insulation voltage 500 V and impulse withstand voltage 4 kV for safe isolation in standard installations.
• DIN rail mounting (35 mm) for quick installation and removal.
• Screw terminals for secure, maintenance-friendly connections.
• Mechanical durability of 1,000,000 cycles and electrical durability of 150,000 cycles for long service life.
• Compact design with IP20 protection, suitable for installation in enclosed boards.
