Access Point Tenda i27 2976 Mbit/s Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6

The Tenda i27 access point delivers dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 performance with a combined throughput of up to 2976 Mbit/s and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Designed for environments that require stable wireless connectivity for multiple clients, the unit integrates the latest Wi‑Fi 6 features to improve throughput, reduce latency, and increase network efficiency. The compact ceiling/wall-mountable housing and straightforward setup make it suitable for small offices, smart homes, and public spaces where wired power options are limited.

Advantages

The access point supports dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6 modulation to provide higher maximum data rates and better simultaneous device handling compared with older Wi‑Fi standards. Built‑in PoE capability allows the device to receive both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and enabling flexible placement. Advanced security protocols and band steering help maintain reliable connections and coexistence in dense wireless environments. The design balances performance and energy efficiency for continuous operation.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized office wireless coverage
• Home networks with multiple streaming and gaming devices
• Retail stores, cafés, and hospitality areas requiring guest Wi‑Fi
• Environments where PoE simplifies installation and cabling

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6) compatible with previous generations
• Maximum combined throughput: up to 2976 Mbit/s across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands
• Frequency bands: Dual‑band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) supported for data and power delivery over a single cable
• Mounting: Ceiling and wall mount options for flexible deployment
• Security: WPA3/WPA2 security protocol support and standard wireless encryption features

How to use

Mount the access point on a ceiling or wall at a central location for optimal coverage. Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector to supply both power and network connectivity. Configure SSID, security settings and band preferences via the device management interface or mobile app according to network policies. Place the device away from large metal objects and sources of interference for best wireless performance. Monitor client connections and throughput through the management tools to adjust channels or transmit power if needed.

Recommendations

For consistent multi‑device performance, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features on compatible client devices, keep firmware updated, and use PoE switches rated for the access point’s power class. Position the device centrally in the coverage area and avoid installing near heavy electrical equipment or reflective surfaces to reduce interference.
