Suitable for

• Home improvement and DIY projects
• Furniture assembly and mounting tasks
• Light renovation and repair work
• Drilling in wood, metal and light masonry with suitable drill bits
• Screwdriving and fastening in residential installations

Key specifications

• Power system: 18 V cordless electric motor
• Battery: 2.5 Ah lithium‑ion rechargeable pack
• Drive type: Variable speed with adjustable clutch for torque control
• Chuck: Keyless chuck for quick bit changes (suitable for standard drill and driver bits)
• Form factor: Compact, ergonomic housing with pistol grip
• Intended use: Drilling and screwdriving for domestic and light professional tasks

How to use

Install the charged 2.5 Ah Li‑ion battery into the drill according to the tool’s insertion guide. Select an appropriate drill bit or driver bit and secure it in the keyless chuck, ensuring it is tightened correctly. Set the torque using the adjustable clutch and select the required speed setting for the material and task. For drilling, mark the workpiece, position the drill perpendicular to the surface where possible, and apply steady pressure while operating at the suitable speed. For screwdriving, start at a low speed to seat the screw and increase torque as needed. Recharge the battery in the recommended charger when the runtime decreases and store the tool and battery in a dry environment at moderate temperatures.

Recommendations

Use protective eyewear and gloves when drilling or driving screws. Match drill bits and driver tips to the material and fastener type; use masonry bits for concrete or brick and HSS or wood bits for metal and timber respectively. Allow the battery to cool before recharging after extended use, and follow Bosch’s guidance for battery care to maintain capacity and service life.
