Accu-telescoopheggenschaar EINHELL GP-HH 18/50 Li T BL-Solo — 18 V, 50 cm zaagblad, telescopisch bereik

The cordless telescopic hedge trimmer EINHELL GP-HH 18/50 Li T BL-Solo is a battery-powered tool designed for shaping and cutting hedges, bushes and shrubs. It features an 18 V power platform and a 50 cm cutting blade. A telescopic shaft increases reach for tall or deep hedges, while the brushless motor improves efficiency and reduces maintenance. Supplied as a solo unit without battery and charger, this hedge trimmer is intended for flexible garden maintenance and professional trimming tasks where mobility and extended reach are required.

Advantages

The brushless motor delivers higher energy efficiency and longer runtime compared with brushed alternatives, while requiring less maintenance. The 50 cm dual-action blade provides clean cuts and reduces vibration for smoother operation. The telescopic shaft allows adjustable working length to reach high branches or deep into hedgerows without a ladder. Lightweight design and balanced ergonomics improve handling during extended use. Being part of an 18 V battery platform ensures compatibility with other tools from the same system, enabling cordless operation and easy interchange of power sources.

Suitable for

• Trimming and shaping garden hedges and perimeter shrubs
• Pruning medium-height bushes and topiary work
• Maintenance of hard-to-reach or tall hedgerows without ladders
• Professional landscaper tasks requiring cordless mobility

Key specifications

• Rated voltage: 18 V
• Blade length: 50 cm
• Drive type: brushless motor (BL) for improved efficiency
• Shaft type: telescopic, adjustable length for increased reach
• Blade action: dual-action for reduced vibration and cleaner cuts
• Supply: tool-only (battery and charger sold separately)

How to use

Before first use, install a compatible 18 V battery according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the battery is fully charged. Adjust the telescopic shaft to a comfortable working length and secure the locking mechanism. Hold the tool with both hands, position the blade at the desired cutting angle, and move the hedge trimmer in steady strokes along the hedge, cutting from the bottom up or following the hedge profile. Use controlled, even passes to avoid overloading the motor and allow the brushless drive to operate efficiently. Switch the tool off and remove the battery before cleaning, blade inspection or maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results, use appropriate 18 V lithium-ion batteries from the same platform to ensure sufficient runtime. Wear suitable personal protective equipment, including eye and ear protection and gloves. Regularly clean and lightly oil the cutting blades after use, and check blade sharpness; replace or sharpen blades when cuts become uneven. Avoid cutting thick branches beyond the blade capacity to prevent damage and maintain safe operation.
