Acer GP.CAB11.004 USB Type-C naar Gigabit-LAN adapter (dongle), RJ-45, zwart

The Acer NP.CAB1A.017 cable gender changer provides a compact adapter solution with an RJ-45 connector on one end and a USB 2.0 Type-A connector on the other. At 0.15 meters in length and finished in black, this adapter is intended for short-distance connections where connector gender or interface conversion is required. The design focuses on a small footprint to minimize cable clutter in tight workspaces and to enable direct connection between compatible devices without running longer cables.

Advantages

This gender changer offers a compact form factor and straightforward plug-and-play operation, requiring no drivers or external power. Its short length reduces signal exposure and helps keep work areas tidy. The black finish provides a neutral look that integrates easily with most equipment and cable management schemes.

Suitable for

• Adapting connector gender between RJ-45 and USB Type-A interfaces for short connections
• Use in dense workstations, server racks, or point-of-sale terminals where space is limited
• Temporary test setups and device configuration tasks that require quick connectivity changes

Key specifications

• Connector types: RJ-45 to USB 2.0 Type-A
• Cable length: 0.15 m
• Colour: Black
• Interface standard: USB 2.0 (backward compatible with USB 1.1 signalling)
• Form factor: Inline gender changer/adapter

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding socket on the device requiring that connector and plug the USB Type-A connector into the host or peripheral USB port. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a reliable physical connection. Because this is a passive adapter of short length, verify device compatibility before use and avoid applying excessive force when connecting or disconnecting.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short, direct connections only and avoid using it as a permanent substitute for appropriate, full-length cables or active converters. Keep the adapter away from sources of mechanical stress and moisture to preserve connector integrity and ensure consistent connectivity.
