Actiecamera DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro 40 MP 4K Ultra HD 155° gezichtsveld

The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is an action camera with a next-generation 1/1.3" sensor that captures high-resolution photos and stabilized 4K video. It features a 40 MP sensor (approximately 7294×5472), 4K/60 and up to 4K/120 recording options, 10‑bit D‑Log M and HLG color modes, dual high-brightness OLED touchscreens (front and rear), and advanced stabilization modes including HorizonSteady and RockSteady 3.0. The camera supports subject tracking, real‑time underwater depth monitoring, and direct connection to DJI OsmoAudio devices such as the DJI Mic 2 for professional audio recording. A single battery provides up to four hours of continuous use, and a multifunctional charging handle extends runtime and adds controls and mounting options.

Advantages

High-resolution 40 MP stills and 8K-equivalent photo resolution allow confident cropping and detailed images. The 1/1.3" sensor with 2.4 μm pixels and 13.5 stops of dynamic range improves low-light performance, while SuperNight mode and AI noise reduction deliver cleaner footage in dim conditions. Dual OLED touchscreens reach up to 1000 nits peak brightness with tempered glass and AF coating for reliable touch response. The camera offers flexible 10‑bit color workflows (D‑Log M and HLG) for precise color grading. Multiple stabilization modes (HorizonSteady, HorizonBalancing, RockSteady 3.0) handle shakes, rotations, and extreme motion. Built-in features for diving depth tracking, OsmoAudio connectivity, 32x super slow motion, and a long-lasting battery support diverse shooting scenarios.

• Action sports and POV footage (mounts, helmets, bikes)
• Underwater and diving recording with depth data
• Low-light and night shooting using SuperNight mode
• Vlogging and on-camera preview with dual screens
• Professional workflows requiring 10‑bit D‑Log M or HLG

How to use

Power on the camera, select the desired video or photo mode, and frame your subject using the front or rear OLED touchscreen. For low-light scenes enable SuperNight or choose 10‑bit D‑Log M/HLG for broader dynamic range and post-processing flexibility. Attach the camera to mounts or the multifunctional charging handle for extended runtime and added controls. When diving, enable the built‑in water detection to start/stop recording automatically and monitor real‑time depth in the Mimo app. Pair the camera with DJI Mic 2 via OsmoAudio for high-sample-rate audio, and enable Built‑in Mic Audio Backup to record ambient sound simultaneously.

Recommendations

Use HorizonSteady for footage that requires full 360° tilt correction and RockSteady 3.0 for immersive first‑person motion; enable Always On Display for low‑power status monitoring when recording at night. For best audio quality pair a DJI Mic 2 transmitter directly and use the Mimo app to apply D‑Log M color recovery and One‑Tap Edit templates when exporting footage.
