Actieve DisplayPort 1.4 naar HDMI-kabel DeLOCK 85928 1m 4K 60Hz HDR

This Delock active DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI cable (model 85928) connects a PC or laptop DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or projector. It supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K at 60 Hz with HDR and is backwards compatible with Full HD 1080p. The cable is 1 m long, approximately 5 mm in diameter, and has a DisplayPort connector on the source side and an HDMI connector on the display side. The cable has a fixed signal direction and only converts a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display.

Advantages

The cable uses an active conversion chip, making it suitable for graphics cards that do not provide DP++ output. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 features including 4K@60Hz and HDR, and delivers both audio and video over a single cable. Its fixed-direction design prevents incorrect connection attempts and simplifies setup when connecting a DisplayPort-equipped PC or laptop to an HDMI monitor or projector.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor
• Connecting a DisplayPort source to an HDMI projector
• Use cases requiring 4K@60Hz video with HDR support
• Setups where the graphics card does not support DP++

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 85928
• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 (source) to HDMI (display)
• Maximum resolution: Ultra HD 4K at 60 Hz with HDR; backwards compatible to 1080p
• Length: 1 m
• Cable diameter: ~5 mm
• Fixed signal direction: DisplayPort source → HDMI display (one-way)
• Colours: Grey, Black

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output on your PC or laptop and connect the HDMI connector to the HDMI input on your monitor or projector. Ensure the display input is set to the corresponding HDMI port. The active conversion is handled within the cable; no external power or drivers are normally required. Do not attempt to use the cable in reverse (HDMI source to DisplayPort display), as reverse signal flow is not supported.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K@60Hz HDR performance, use high-quality HDMI inputs on displays and verify that the graphics card supports DisplayPort 1.4 output. If no video appears, check display input selection and cable seating; if problems persist, verify the source supports output over DisplayPort and that the monitor firmware and graphics drivers are up to date.
