Actieve optische kabel UNITEK 8K Ultrapro DisplayPort 1.4 10m

The UNITEK 8K Ultrapro DisplayPort 1.4 Active Optical Cable (10 m) is a long-reach DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable designed for high-resolution displays and high refresh rates. Using active optical transmission, it supports up to 8K resolution and high frame rates while maintaining signal integrity over extended distances. The cable has DisplayPort connectors on both ends and comes in a black/grey finish for professional and home setups.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides lossless signal transmission over long distances, reducing degradation that can occur with copper cables. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 features including high bandwidth for up to 8K resolution and high refresh rates (up to 240 Hz where supported), while keeping a slim, flexible form factor for easier routing. The robust connectors and durable jacket improve longevity in regular use.

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the source device (PC, laptop, or graphics card) and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure connectors are fully seated. Most systems will detect the display automatically; verify display settings in your operating system or GPU control panel to select desired resolution and refresh rate. For optimal results, use DisplayPort 1.4 compatible devices and update graphics drivers as needed.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong EMI sources. Use the cable for runs where active optical transmission is required to preserve signal quality over long distances; confirm both source and display support the desired 8K/240 Hz modes before relying on them for critical work.
