Actieve USB Type-C-naar-HDMI-kabel DeLOCK 85973 4K 60 Hz 7 m

The DeLOCK Active USB Type-C to HDMI Cable (model 85973) allows you to connect a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 equipped PC or laptop—such as a MacBook or Chromebook—to an HDMI monitor or TV. The cable uses the DisplayPort Alternate Mode over the USB Type-C interface to deliver video and supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz. It is 7 m long, has a diameter of 4.7 mm and comes in black, packaged individually in a polybag.

Advantages

This active cable supports 4K@60 Hz for high-quality video output and is compatible with devices that provide DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. Its 7 m length offers flexible placement of displays relative to the source device. The cable’s active electronics ensure stable signal transmission over the extended length and it uses standard HDMI at the monitor end for broad display compatibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop (e.g., MacBook, Chromebook) to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Presentations and meeting rooms where the source and display are separated by several metres
• Home or office setups requiring a long single-cable connection for 4K video

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C connector to a compatible device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (or Thunderbolt 3 with DP Alt Mode). Plug the HDMI connector into the HDMI input of a monitor or TV. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display and configure the output resolution on the source device if necessary. No separate drivers are required; the cable relies on the host device’s video output capabilities.

Recommendations

Ensure the source device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 before use. For best results at 4K@60 Hz, use display settings that match the monitor’s native resolution and verify the HDMI port on the display supports the required bandwidth.
