Adapter HDMI A naar DisplayPort ShiverPeaks 4K 60Hz 20cm kabelconverter

The ShiverPeaks Adapter HDMI A to DisplayPort is a passive 20 cm cable converter designed to connect HDMI source devices to DisplayPort displays or capture devices. It supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz over a short direct connection, offering a compact cable solution for desk-mounted monitors, compact workstations, or scenarios where a simple signal conversion is sufficient. The cable’s short length reduces excess cable clutter and is intended for short-distance signal routing between nearby devices.

Advantages

This adapter offers straightforward, cable-style conversion from an HDMI A output to a DisplayPort input without requiring external power or bulky adapters. With support for 4K at 60 Hz, it enables high-resolution video transmission for compatible source and display combinations. The compact 20 cm length is convenient for space-constrained setups and tidy installations where only a short connection is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI-equipped laptop, media player or console to a DisplayPort monitor or capture device over a short distance
• Desk installations and compact workstations where minimal cable length is preferred
• Temporary setups, trade show booths or studio arrangements requiring quick, simple HDMI-to-DisplayPort wiring

Key specifications

• Cable type: passive HDMI A (male) to DisplayPort (male) converter
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz
• Length: 20 cm
• Use case: short-distance signal conversion between HDMI sources and DisplayPort inputs
• Power requirement: passive operation (no external power supply)

How to use

Connect the HDMI A end of the ShiverPeaks adapter to the HDMI output on your source device and insert the DisplayPort end into the monitor or capture device’s DisplayPort input. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate input/output modes. For best results, use the adapter only for short cable runs between nearby devices and confirm that both the source and the display support 4K at 60 Hz if that resolution and refresh rate are required.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility before use: because this is a passive cable converter, certain HDMI sources or DisplayPort displays may require an active adapter for full functionality. Use the adapter in short-distance connections and avoid tight bends or excessive strain on the connector ends to maintain signal integrity.
