Adapter ShiverPeaks 57040-MR cinch (RCA)-bus naar bus metaal, rood

ShiverPeaks 57040-MR is a metal Cinch (RCA) female-to-female adapter with a red finish, made for joining two RCA cables or extending an RCA lead. Its compact inline design allows a short, robust coupling of audio or video connectors in home AV systems, DJ setups, car audio installations and studio signal chains. The adapter is intended for simple linking of unbalanced line-level signals where an extra length or a quick connection is required.

Advantages

The metal housing offers mechanical durability and shielding against light interference compared with plastic couplings. A female-to-female Cinch connection provides a straightforward, tool-free way to extend existing RCA leads or to join two cable runs without replacing connectors. The red finish makes channel identification quick and reduces the risk of incorrect connections when pairing multiple leads.

Suitable for

• Extending audio RCA leads in home stereo and home theater systems
• Temporary joining of RCA cables in DJ and live sound setups
• Linking line-level outputs and inputs in studio patching
• Integrating additional length into car audio installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: female-to-female Cinch (RCA)
• Material: metal housing
• Finish: red
• Intended signals: unbalanced audio and composite video (line-level)
• Form factor: compact inline coupling

How to use

Insert the male RCA plug of one cable into one end of the adapter and the male RCA plug of the second cable into the other end until they are fully seated. Ensure the connections are clean and free of debris to maintain good electrical contact. Use the adapter only for unbalanced RCA signal paths; avoid applying excessive force when connecting or disconnecting to prevent damage to cable plugs or the adapter housing.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, use the adapter for short extensions or temporary joins rather than long permanent runs. Keep cable routing away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and, where possible, use quality RCA cables with proper shielding to complement the metal coupling. Use the red finish to mark channel assignment consistently in multi-cable setups.
