Adapter ShiverPeaks 57041 — 2x cinch (RCA) koppelingen voor audioverbindingen

ShiverPeaks Adapter 57041 is a compact audio accessory that provides two cinch (RCA) couplers for connecting or extending RCA-terminated audio cables. The adapter allows signal pass-through between two RCA plugs without active electronics, enabling straightforward joins between devices such as amplifiers, CD players and AV receivers. Its small form factor makes it suitable for use in home audio systems and tight installation spaces.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple mechanical connection that preserves stereo signal paths and reduces the need to replace cables when extending runs. Metal contacts ensure reliable electrical contact and consistent continuity for analog audio signals. Its compact design minimises space requirements and keeps connections tidy behind equipment racks or inside cabinets.

Suitable for

• Extending RCA audio cables between components
• Temporarily joining two RCA leads for testing or repairs
• Connecting consumer audio sources (CD players, tuners) to amplifiers or receivers
• Use in home theater and stereo systems with standard RCA terminations

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × female cinch (RCA) couplers
• Configuration: stereo pass-through (left and right channels)
• Electrical contact: metal contacts for analog signal continuity
• Construction: compact in-line coupler housing suitable for confined spaces
• Application: passive analog audio joining/extension

How to use

Insert the male RCA plugs of the cables to be joined into the corresponding female cinch couplers until they seat firmly. Ensure left and right channels are matched to maintain correct stereo orientation. Use the adapter for short- to medium-length extensions or temporary joins; avoid subjecting the connector to excessive mechanical stress or twisting forces that could loosen contacts.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, keep total analog cable runs reasonably short and use good-quality RCA cables. Avoid using multiple passive couplers in series, as each connection introduces potential signal loss or noise. If a permanent or long cable run is required, consider replacing with a single longer RCA cable or using balanced connections where applicable.
