Adapter ShiverPeaks 57100 mono 3.5mm naar cinchkoppeling

ShiverPeaks 57100 Mono 3.5mm to Coaxial Coupling is a compact mono audio adapter designed to convert a single-channel 3.5 mm plug to a coaxial (RCA-style) connection. The adapter provides a mechanical and electrical interface that allows a mono audio line from portable players, small mixers, recorders or instruments to be routed into equipment with coaxial inputs or outputs. Its small footprint and straightforward mating surfaces make it suitable for tight installations and simple cable conversions where only a single-channel signal is required.

Advantages

The adapter offers a direct, low-complexity connection between 3.5 mm mono jacks and coaxial sockets without the need for additional cables or active electronics. Its construction ensures stable mechanical coupling and consistent signal transfer for mono audio lines. Because it is passive, it requires no power and introduces minimal alteration to the original signal when used within the normal operating ranges of consumer audio gear.

Suitable for

• Connecting portable audio players or recorders to coaxial inputs on amplifiers or mixers
• Routing instrument or microphone mono outputs into coaxial cabling for live or recorded setups
• Converting a mono 3.5 mm line output to a coaxial input for playback systems
• Testing or troubleshooting single-channel audio paths using standard connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type (input): 3.5 mm mono plug
• Connector type (output): coaxial (RCA-style) coupling
• Signal path: single-channel (mono)
• Operation: passive, no power required
• Intended use: audio line-level connections
• Form factor: compact inline coupling adapter

How to use

Insert the mono 3.5 mm plug into the adapter’s 3.5 mm socket or plug the adapter onto the device’s 3.5 mm output depending on the mating orientation, then connect an RCA/coaxial cable to the adapter’s coaxial coupling. Ensure secure mechanical seating of both connectors to avoid intermittent contact. Use the adapter only with mono signals; do not attempt to force stereo plugs into a mono coupling as this may result in poor contact or signal loss.

Recommendations

For best results, use with line-level mono sources and avoid exposure to excessive mechanical strain or moisture. If converting between devices with different nominal levels, check levels and, if necessary, adjust gain on the receiving equipment to prevent distortion or low signal amplitude.
