Adapter ShiverPeaks cinch (RCA)-koppeling naar cinch-koppeling 57040-MS, zwart metaal

The ShiverPeaks Cinch (RCA) coupling adapter 57040-MS is a compact male-to-female Cinch (RCA) metal coupler designed to join or extend RCA interconnects in audio and AV systems. With a black metal finish and a slim profile, this adapter provides a direct connection between two RCA cables or between devices with Cinch connectors, enabling reliable transfer of analog audio and composite video signals. It is intended for situations where a short, durable coupling is preferable to replacing cables or running longer single runs.

Advantages

This metal Cinch coupling offers a stable electrical connection and mechanical durability compared with low-cost plastic alternatives. The compact footprint minimizes stress on cable terminations and keeps connections tidy behind furniture or equipment racks. The black metal surface reduces visible wear and integrates unobtrusively with most AV setups. The male-to-female configuration allows easy joining of two RCA leads without changing cable routing.

Suitable for

• Extending short RCA interconnects between audio components
• Joining phono leads on record players or turntables
• Connecting composite video cables for older AV equipment
• Temporary or permanent repairs of RCA cable runs

Key specifications

• Connector type: male to female Cinch (RCA) coupling
• Signal compatibility: analog audio and composite video
• Housing material: metal with black finish
• Form factor: compact inline coupler
• Contact finish: conductive metal contacts suitable for standard RCA plugs

How to use

Insert the male RCA plug of one cable into the female side of the coupler and push until it seats fully. Connect the male side of the coupler into the female RCA jack of the second cable or device. Ensure connectors are aligned and seated to avoid intermittent contact. For composite video, match color-coded plugs (usually yellow) where applicable; for audio, match left/right channels to preserve stereo separation. Avoid excessive bending at the connection point to maintain contact integrity.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short extension runs or to simplify temporary connections; for long-term installations where signal integrity is critical, prefer a single continuous cable run or high-quality shielded interconnects. Keep connectors clean and free of dust to maintain reliable contact.
