Adapter ShiverPeaks IEC-bus naar F-stekker model 85321-EC voor tv- en antenneaansluitingen

The ShiverPeaks adapter IEC female to F male model 85321-EC is a compact coaxial connector designed to link devices with IEC sockets to cables or equipment using F-type male plugs. It provides a direct mechanical and electrical transition for TV, set-top box and antenna connections, allowing indoor adaptation of existing wiring without replacing cables. The adapter supports typical household RF signal transmission for terrestrial antenna, cable TV or satellite equipment where an IEC-to-F interface is required.

Advantages

This adapter offers a slim, low-profile form factor that fits behind TVs and set-top boxes where space is limited. It provides a straightforward, tool-free connection method to convert an IEC female socket to accept an F-type male plug while maintaining proper coaxial shielding. The product is intended for indoor use and is lightweight, easy to install and remove, and does not require rewiring or additional components to adapt connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or set-top box IEC socket to an F-type coaxial cable
• Adapting indoor antenna, cable TV or satellite input when cable ends differ
• Temporary or permanent installations behind furniture or AV cabinets

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC female to F male coaxial adapter
• Intended use: indoor RF signal adaptation for TV, set-top box and antenna
• Impedance: compatible with standard 75 Ω coaxial systems
• Construction: metal contact with insulating dielectric and outer coaxial shield
• Form factor: compact, low-profile inline adapter

How to use

Connect the IEC female end of the adapter to the IEC male socket on the TV or set-top box, ensuring the adapter is aligned and fully seated. Insert the F-type male plug from the coaxial cable into the adapter’s F male end and hand-tighten the coupling if a threaded connection is present; do not overtighten. Verify the connection is secure and check the signal on the TV or tuner. For removal, gently pull the F plug from the adapter and unplug the adapter from the IEC socket.

Recommendations

Use the adapter indoors and avoid exposure to moisture or outdoor conditions. Ensure cables and connectors are in good condition before connecting, and avoid excessive bending or strain on the coaxial cable at the adapter to preserve signal quality.
