Adler AD 6658 droogoven, 5 inschuifniveaus, LCD-timer 70 uur, 35–70 °C, 230 W (max. 550 W), wit

The ADLER AD 6658 food dehydrator is a compact 550W appliance designed for drying mushrooms, vegetables, fruits and herbs. It has five stackable polypropylene trays and a drying area of 2310 cm², allowing efficient dehydration while occupying little storage space. The unit operates quietly and includes two-level temperature control, an adjustable timer and automatic overheat protection for safer use.

Advantages

The dehydrator offers quiet operation and a small footprint due to stackable trays, making it practical for home kitchens. Polypropylene trays include one 2.5 cm high tray that accommodates thicker slices. Adjustable temperature (35–70°C) and a timer (1–70 hours) let you adapt drying intensity to different products. Built-in overheat protection automatically shuts the unit off if necessary.

Key specifications

• Power: 550 W
• Number of trays: 5 (stackable, made of polypropylene)
• Drying area: 2310 cm²
• Height of one tray: 2.5 cm
• Temperature range: 35–70 °C
• Timer: 1–70 hours
• Features: two-level temperature control, overheat protection, quiet operation

How to use

Place evenly sliced products on the trays without overlapping to ensure uniform airflow. Stack the trays in the dehydrator and set the desired temperature and time using the front LCD control panel according to the product type: for example, herbs and flowers dry faster at lower temperatures, while soft fruits may require longer drying (up to 18 hours at around 60 °C). Start the device and monitor periodically; when the overheat protection triggers, the unit will shut off automatically.

Recommendations

For best results, wash and dry produce before slicing, cut items into uniform pieces, and check progress occasionally. Use lower temperatures for delicate herbs and higher settings for denser fruits or meat. Allow dried products to cool before storing in airtight containers to extend shelf life.
