Afdekband 3M Scotch Malerkreppb PRO 30 mm x 50 m, beige

Masking tape 3M Scotch Malerkreppb PRO 30 mm x 50 m in beige is a professional-grade painter's tape designed to create sharp paint edges and provide temporary surface protection during painting and finishing work. The tape combines easy application with controlled adhesion to reduce paint bleed and allow clean removal without leaving significant adhesive residue when removed within recommended timeframes.

Advantages

The tape offers consistent thickness and tearability for quick manual application and cutting. Its paper backing conforms to corners and irregular surfaces while the adhesive balances holding power with removability to protect surfaces such as trim, glass edges and baseboards. Beige color provides good visual contrast against most interior surfaces, aiding precise placement during masking tasks.

Suitable for

• Interior painting where crisp lines are required
• Masking trims, mouldings and window frames
• Temporary protection of surfaces during light finishing work
• DIY and professional paint preparation tasks

Key specifications

• Width: 30 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Color: beige
• Backing material: crepe paper
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive, designed for clean removal

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust or oils before application. Unroll the required length, press the tape firmly along the edge to be masked using fingers or a flat tool to achieve good contact, and smooth out any wrinkles. For best results, apply the tape at room temperature and remove it within the manufacturer’s recommended time to avoid adhesive transfer. When removing, pull the tape back slowly at a low angle to minimize edge lifting.

Recommendations

Use this masking tape on painted or varnished surfaces, glass and metal indoors. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure and high-temperature conditions that can increase adhesive residue. Test on an inconspicuous area if surface sensitivity or long-term adhesion is a concern.
