Afplakband 3M Kreppband 301E 36 mm x 50 m beige

3M Crepe Tape 301E 36 mm x 50 m Beige is a general-purpose masking tape designed for paint masking, surface protection and temporary fixing. The tape combines a crepe paper backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows good conformability on curved and uneven surfaces and clean removal after short-term use. Its 36 mm width and 50 m length suit repeated small-scale tasks and work where precise edges are required.

Advantages

The crepe paper backing provides flexibility and tearability by hand, making it easy to apply and remove without the need for cutting tools. The pressure-sensitive adhesive offers reliable adhesion to typical painting substrates while minimizing adhesive residue on removal when used as intended. The tape’s beige colour gives clear visibility against many surfaces and helps control edge definition for paint lines.

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of loose dust or grease before application. Measure and cut the required length by hand or with scissors, apply the tape along the intended edge, pressing firmly to ensure full contact with the substrate and good edge seal. For curved or uneven surfaces, smooth the tape progressively along the contour to avoid gaps. Remove the tape slowly and steadily at a low angle after painting or when temporary protection is no longer required to reduce the chance of lifting the underlying surface.

Recommendations

Use the tape at moderate temperatures and avoid long-term outdoor exposure to achieve clean removability; test on an inconspicuous area if adhesion or residue behaviour is critical for the specific substrate. Store rolls flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain handling and adhesive properties.
