Afdekband 3M Scotch P3630 36 mm x 50 m beige

3M Scotch P3630 masking tape, 36 mm x 50 m in beige, is designed for controlled paint masking, surface protection and light bundling tasks. The tape offers temporary adhesion to a variety of common surfaces and is formulated to remove cleanly with minimal residue after short-term use. Its 36 mm width and 50 m roll length make it suitable for both small-detail work and repeated touch-up jobs in professional and DIY settings.

Advantages

The tape combines a balance of adhesion and clean removability so it holds reliably during painting but can be removed without damaging most finishes. It features a conformable backing that follows curved and textured surfaces and a consistent tear that allows easy hand application without tools. The beige color gives moderate visibility against painted surfaces while remaining unobtrusive during work.

Key specifications

• Width: 36 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Color: beige
• Adhesion type: general-purpose masking adhesive for temporary use
• Backing: conformable paper for easy tearing and surface conformity

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles before applying the tape. Measure and apply the 3M Scotch P3630 tape along the required edge or area, pressing firmly to establish good contact. For best paint lines, apply the tape smoothly and remove it within the manufacturer’s recommended time frame for short-term masking after the paint has dried to the touch but before full cure. To tear the tape, use a steady hand to create a clean edge; a cutting tool may be used for precise lengths.

Recommendations

Use the tape on surfaces that can tolerate temporary adhesive contact and avoid extended outdoor exposure beyond short-term tasks to minimize residue. Test adhesion and removability on an inconspicuous area when working with delicate or newly finished surfaces.
