Allround maskingtape TESA 56533 25 m

tesa® Masking Tape Curves (TESA 56533) is a general-purpose masking tape designed for indoor decorative painting and craft work. The tape is highly flexible and suitable for creating clean, sharp paint edges on both smooth and rough surfaces. It is available in a beige color, 25 mm wide and 25 m long, and provides reliable adhesion with clean removal without leaving residue on common substrates such as ceramic, glass and wood.

Advantages

The tape combines extreme flexibility with good adhesive strength so it can be stretched around edges and follow irregular contours and tight curves without curling. It is compatible with all common paint types and produces super-sharp color edges while removing cleanly. Its general-purpose design makes it useful for both painting and crafting tasks.

Suitable for

• Masking and decorative painting on interior walls
• Creating precise paint edges on smooth and textured surfaces
• Temporary fixation and protection of ceramic, glass and wood during work
• Craft and DIY projects that require curved or irregular masking

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application. Unroll the tape and press it firmly along the edge or contour you want to protect, smoothing out wrinkles to ensure full contact. For tight curves or irregular shapes, stretch the tape slightly and press it into place to follow the profile. Apply paint and allow it to dry according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions. Remove the tape slowly at a 45°–90° angle for the sharpest edge, preferably while the paint is fully dry or slightly tacky depending on paint type.

Recommendations

For best results on porous or highly textured surfaces, test adhesion on a small inconspicuous area first. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure or long-term masking beyond the recommended time for the chosen paint, as adhesive performance may vary.
