Afdekfolie TESA Professional 4368 Easy Cover Universal

The TESA Professional 4368 Easy Cover Universal is a protective covering film made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) designed for surface protection during painting, renovation and light construction work. The film measures 33,000 x 550 mm and comes in a beige color that reduces visual distraction while providing a consistent, tear-resistant barrier against dust, paint splashes and light debris. Its material composition gives the sheet dimensional stability and resistance to common solvents encountered in decorating tasks.

Advantages

The film offers a combination of strength and flexibility that simplifies masking large areas and irregular shapes without frequent replacement. Its lightweight but tear-resistant structure allows one-person handling for covering floors, furniture and fixtures. The beige tone helps hide dirt and minor stains during work, while the PET construction improves resistance to stretching and puncture compared with ordinary polyethylene films. The roll format and generous length reduce the need to join multiple sheets, saving time during preparation.

Suitable for

• Protecting floors, worktops and furniture during painting and varnishing
• Covering windowsills, radiators and fixtures during renovation
• Temporary dust protection on construction sites and during maintenance
• Masking large surfaces prior to plastering or sanding

Key specifications

• Material: polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
• Color: beige
• Dimensions: 33,000 x 550 mm
• Format: roll for unrolling and trimming to required length
• Properties: tear-resistant, dimensionally stable, lightweight

How to use

Unroll the required length of film and cut it with a utility knife or scissors. Lay the film over the surface to be protected, keeping it flat to avoid air pockets. Secure edges with low-residue masking tape or compatible adhesive tapes if required for longer work periods or vertical applications. Trim around fixtures and corners to achieve a neat fit. After work is complete, fold contaminated sections inward before disposal to contain residual paint or dust.

Recommendations

The film is intended for temporary protection; avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to direct sunlight or extreme weather to prevent degradation. For heavy-duty protection or chemical exposure, verify compatibility with the substances used and consider a thicker or specialised product. Store the roll in a dry place at room temperature to maintain handling properties.
