The panel provides a neat exterior finish and can also contribute to the stability and internal configuration of bayed base/plinths; on 200 mm high base/plinths one 200 mm high or two 100 mm high trim panels may be fitted.

Advantages

The trim panel is made of black steel for durability and a consistent appearance. Its 100 mm height and 1200 mm depth make it suitable for standard VX base/plinth units. Supplied as a pair, the panels are ready for installation and help achieve a professional, uniform look for enclosures while supporting alignment of adjacent units.

How to use

Place the trim panel at the side of the base/plinth unit and secure it according to the Rittal VX assembly instructions for base/plinth accessories. For 200 mm high base/plinths, either fit one 200 mm high panel or install two 100 mm high panels to reach the required height. Ensure panels are aligned with adjacent units to maintain a continuous exterior surface and check fastenings for stability after installation.

Recommendations

Use the trim panels in combination with compatible Rittal VX base/plinth components and follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines. Verify dimensions and pack contents before installation and handle steel panels with appropriate protective equipment to avoid damage or injury.
