Afsluitklep Gardena 13207-20 geschikt voor druppelirrigatiesysteem

The Gardena 13207-20 shut-off valve suitable for drip irrigation system is a compact control element designed to regulate water flow within low-pressure micro-irrigation networks. Manufactured from durable plastic, this three-piece pack provides reliable manual on/off control for individual irrigation lines, branch connectors or emitter groups. The product is intended for integration into drip irrigation assemblies where straightforward, maintenance-free isolation of sections is required.

Advantages

This shut-off valve offers corrosion-resistant plastic construction that withstands outdoor moisture and routine garden use. Its simple manual operation enables quick isolation of lines without tools, and the three-piece packaging supports multiple connection points or spare replacement. The valve is lightweight and compatible with common drip irrigation fittings, providing predictable flow shutoff and reducing the need to drain entire systems for local maintenance.

Suitable for

• Drip and micro-irrigation mains and branch lines
• Sectioning off individual emitter strings or sprinkler zones
• Garden beds, potted plant irrigation and greenhouse setups
• Replacement of worn shut-off points in existing systems

Key specifications

• Material: durable weather-resistant plastic
• Pack quantity: 3 valves
• Function: manual on/off shut-off for low-pressure irrigation lines
• Suitable connection type: compatible with standard drip irrigation fittings and hose connectors
• Operating environment: outdoor garden and greenhouse use

How to use

Install the shut-off valve inline between two compatible drip irrigation tubes or at the branch point where isolation is required. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and pushed fully onto the valve connection until secure; follow the system's connector guidelines for a watertight fit. Turn the valve handle to the closed position to stop flow and to the open position to restore irrigation. Check for leaks after installation and re-tighten connections if necessary.

Recommendations

For durable operation, avoid exposing the valve to prolonged direct UV without periodic inspection and, during winter months in freezing climates, drain or remove valves from lines to prevent freeze damage. Regularly inspect connections and replace valves if cracking or wear is observed.
