Afsluitklep Gardena 18267-50 grijs oranje voor sprinklerinstallatie

The GARDENA Shut-off Valve (18267-50) is a control valve for use with a Y-coupling in sprinkler and garden watering systems. Designed to be attached to one outlet of a Y-coupling, it enables precise regulation or complete shut-off of water flow without turning off the tap. The valve is frost-resistant for year-round use and is manufactured in Europe; GARDENA provides a five-year warranty.

Advantages

The valve allows smooth adjustment of water flow or full shut-off at one end of a Y-coupling, enabling quick exchange of connection devices on site. It is suitable for fine-tuning the spray range of a sprinkler by varying flow and is built to resist frost for reliable year-round operation. As a GARDENA Original System component, it is produced in Europe and covered by a five-year warranty.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting to one outlet of a Y-coupling to regulate or stop water flow
• Adjusting spray range of sprinklers
• Temporary shut-off when changing hoses or fittings without closing the main tap

When closed, the connected device or hose can be disconnected or replaced without turning off the water supply at the tap. Reopen the valve to resume irrigation and adjust the spray range as needed.

Recommendations

Use the valve within the Original GARDENA System for best compatibility. In freezing conditions, ensure connections are drained or protected despite the valve's frost resistance to prolong service life.
