Alessi Plissé waterkoker wit met temperatuurregeling (MDL21 W)

With a powerful 2400 W heating element, the Alessi Plissé Electric Kettle brings 1.7 liters of water to a boil in minutes, while its precise temperature control lets you select the ideal heat for delicate teas or pour-over coffee. The distinctive pleated thermoplastic resin body, designed by Michele De Lucchi, is both a sculptural statement and a practical insulator, keeping the exterior cool to the touch.

Overview

The Alessi Plissé kettle combines Italian design flair with everyday functionality. Its cordless design and 360° rotational base make it easy to lift and return from any angle, while the concealed stainless steel heating element prevents limescale buildup and simplifies cleaning. The removable anti-limescale filter ensures pure-tasting water, and the water level indicator lets you fill precisely without waste.

What stands out

• Five preset temperature settings (60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, 100°C) for optimal brewing of white, green, oolong, and black teas, plus boiling.
• Keep warm function maintains the selected temperature for up to 20 minutes, so your second cup is always ready.
• Automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection provide peace of mind, while non-slip feet and an insulated handle ensure safe handling.
• The pleated texture is not just aesthetic—it adds structural rigidity and reduces heat transfer to the outer surface.
