Alphacool 17092 fitting messing chroom 22mm

The Alphacool 17092 Brass Chrome 22mm fitting is a precision-machined connection component for liquid cooling loops in computers. Constructed from brass with a chrome-plated surface, the fitting measures 22 mm in overall height and is intended to provide reliable sealing and durable mechanical performance in cooling systems. Its compact form factor and metal construction make it suitable for repeated installations and maintenance in desktop and workstation cooling circuits.

Advantages

The brass construction offers good mechanical strength and resistance to deformation while the chrome finish provides corrosion resistance and a smooth surface for easier assembly. The 22 mm height makes the fitting compatible with tight layouts and helps maintain consistent tube alignment. The metal body improves thermal stability compared to plastic alternatives and supports long-term use under typical system temperatures and pressures.

Suitable for

• Custom water-cooling loops in desktop PCs
• Repair or upgrade of existing liquid cooling systems
• Workstations and small form-factor builds with limited internal space
• Environments requiring repeated disassembly and reassembly

Key specifications

• Material: brass with chrome plating
• Overall height: 22 mm
• Finish: polished chrome
• Intended application: liquid cooling fittings for computer systems
• Durability: metal construction suitable for repeated use

How to use

Install the fitting by seating it into the corresponding port or tubing connection in the cooling loop, ensuring that mating surfaces are clean and free of debris. Use appropriate tubing and clamps or compression rings compatible with the fitting dimensions to achieve a leak-free seal. Tighten connections to the recommended torque for brass fittings, avoiding excessive force to prevent thread damage. After assembly, perform a pressure or leak test before powering the computer to confirm system integrity.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-inhibiting coolant formulated for PC water cooling and follow manufacturer guidance for compatibility. Inspect fittings periodically for signs of wear or deterioration and re-tighten connections after the first operational cycle if necessary.
