Aluminiumtape Tesa 50577 zwart mat 25 m x 50 mm — hittebestendige kleeffolie

Tesa Aluminium Tape 50577 Black Matte 25 m x 50 mm is a black matte aluminium adhesive foil designed for sealing, repair and insulation tasks. The product combines a metal foil backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to create a durable bond on metal surfaces, ducts and other areas where heat, vapour or light reflection control is required. With a 25 metre roll length and 50 mm width, this tape is sized for both HVAC applications and general maintenance work.

Advantages

The aluminium backing provides heat and vapour resistance while the matte black finish reduces light reflection. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures secure adhesion to clean metal, coated surfaces and many common construction substrates. The tape is conformable enough to follow irregular surfaces and seams, and its metallic backing enhances mechanical and thermal protection compared with conventional cloth or plastic tapes.

Key specifications

• Backing material: aluminium foil with matte surface
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for metal and coated substrates
• Roll length: 25 m
• Width: 50 mm
• Finish: black matte
• Properties: heat-resistant, vapour-resistant, conformable

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oils or loose particles. Cut the required length of tape and apply by pressing the adhesive side onto the surface, smoothing from the centre outwards to remove air pockets. For seams and joints on ducts or insulation, overlap adjacent tape edges to maintain a continuous seal. When applying to curved or irregular surfaces, conform the tape by firm hand pressure; use a roller for larger areas to improve adhesion and durability.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a dry environment at moderate temperature. For best performance, apply at temperatures within the manufacturer’s recommended range and avoid prolonged exposure to aggressive chemicals or continuous direct flame. Test adhesion on unfamiliar substrates prior to full application.
