Antenne-aansluitdoos ShiverPeaks 83905-10DCSETLW — BK+SAT-aansluiting voor tv en satelliet

The Antenna socket ShiverPeaks 83905-10DCSETLW — BK+SAT connector for TV and satellite provides a combined outlet for terrestrial broadcast (BK) and satellite (SAT) signals in a single wall-mounted plate. Intended for home installations, it accepts standard coaxial cable terminations and common connector types used for TV and satellite receivers. The unit integrates both signal paths in one neat module to support distribution of terrestrial and satellite reception from one point.

Advantages

This combined BK+SAT socket simplifies installation by incorporating both broadcast and satellite connections in a single plate, reducing the need for multiple outlets. The device is designed for standard wall mounting and supports through-connection for digital signals, allowing continuity in the coaxial line. The model includes features for return path and DC pass where applicable, and its neutral color suits typical interior environments.

Suitable for

• Home living rooms and bedrooms requiring combined TV and satellite reception
• Media cabinets or entertainment centers with single-point signal distribution
• Replacement or upgrade of existing single-outlet installations to BK+SAT

Key specifications

• Combined BK (terrestrial broadcast) and SAT (satellite) connector types
• Designed for coaxial cable terminations and standard TV/satellite connectors
• Through-connection for digital signals (digi passthrough)
• Supports DC pass and return path functionality
• Attenuation indication: 10 dB (as part of product series features)
• Threefold connectivity options in the set configuration
• Colour: white, suitable for wall-mounted installation

How to use

Mount the socket into a compatible flush-mounted wall box and connect the incoming coaxial cable for terrestrial broadcast to the BK terminal and the satellite feed to the SAT terminal following standard wiring conventions. Ensure connectors are tightened to provide secure RF contact. If used in a multi-point distribution, observe the through-connection and DC pass settings to maintain signal continuity and power to satellite LNBs where required. After installation, test both TV and satellite reception and adjust cabling or splitter settings if signal levels are outside expected ranges.

Recommendations

Use appropriate shielding and quality coaxial cables to minimize interference. When connecting equipment that requires power over the coaxial line, verify DC pass settings to avoid unintended power to other devices. For best results in multi-room setups, combine this socket with suitable distribution amplifiers or splitters and perform signal level measurements after installation.
