Antenne DELOCK 81453 WiFi 7 RP-SMA-stekker omnidirectioneel 2,5–3,6 dBi

DELOCK 81453 is an omnidirectional external antenna designed for WiFi 7 devices with an RP-SMA connector. With a gain range of 2.5–3.6 dBi, this antenna aims to extend and stabilise wireless coverage for routers, access points and client devices that accept RP-SMA type connectors. Its 360° radiation pattern provides uniform coverage in horizontal planes, making it suitable for home and small-office environments that require moderate range improvements and more consistent signal reception.

Advantages

The antenna provides omnidirectional coverage that evens out signal distribution around the installation point without the need for precise aiming. Its RP-SMA connector enables direct replacement or upgrade of compatible external antennas on many consumer and prosumer WiFi devices. The specified gain range helps improve signal reliability and throughput for nearby devices while keeping a compact form factor that is easy to mount and adjust.

Suitable for

• Home routers and mesh nodes with RP-SMA antenna ports
• Small office WiFi access points requiring moderate range extension
• Client devices (PCIe/USB adapters) that use detachable RP-SMA antennas
• Environments needing uniform 360° horizontal coverage

Key specifications

• Frequency standard: compatible with WiFi 7 frequency bands
• Radiation pattern: omnidirectional, 360° horizontal coverage
• Gain: 2.5–3.6 dBi
• Connector type: RP-SMA (reverse polarity)
• Application: external antenna for routers, access points and client adapters
• Form factor: external, replaceable antenna

How to use

To install the antenna, power off the device if recommended by the manufacturer, then unscrew the existing antenna (if present) and screw the DELOCK 81453 into the RP-SMA connector until hand-tight. Position the antenna vertically for general omnidirectional coverage; adjust angle and orientation as needed to optimise signal in the intended coverage area. After installation, power on the device and verify signal strength and connection stability from target client devices.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna clear of large metallic objects and away from dense obstructions. If stronger range or focused coverage is required, consider directional antennas or multiple access points. Ensure the host device supports external antennas with RP-SMA connectors before purchasing.
