Antenne SENCOR SDA 512 DVB‑T2/T 20 dB 75 Ω — externe TV/FM-antenne voor digitale terrestrische ontvangst

SENCOR SDA 512 is an external TV/FM antenna engineered for DVB‑T2/T digital terrestrial reception. With a nominal gain of 20 dB and a 75 Ω impedance, the antenna is intended to improve reception quality for digital television and FM broadcasts. The compact external design is suitable for home or small-scale installations where boosting weak terrestrial signals reduces pixelation, dropouts and sound disturbances.

Advantages

The antenna provides a focused 20 dB gain to enhance signal strength from terrestrial transmitters while maintaining a 75 Ω interface compatible with most TV tuners and receivers. Its external mounting allows better line-of-sight positioning compared to indoor antennas, which helps stabilize reception for DVB‑T2/T multiplexes and FM channels. The device is lightweight and easy to place or fix on a mast or wall for improved coverage.

Suitable for

• Improving DVB‑T2/T digital terrestrial TV reception in residential settings
• Enhancing FM radio signal quality for home audio systems
• Small-scale installations on roofs, balconies, or exterior walls
• Replacing or upgrading basic external antennas to reduce pixelation and dropouts

Key specifications

• Type: External TV/FM antenna for terrestrial reception
• Frequency coverage: compatible with DVB‑T2/T and FM broadcast bands
• Gain: 20 dB nominal
• Impedance: 75 Ω
• Mounting: external mast or wall mounting (compact form factor)
• Connection: standard 75 Ω coaxial connection to TV or tuner

How to use

Mount the antenna externally in a location with the clearest possible line of sight toward broadcast transmitters — roof, mast or high exterior wall are preferred. Route a coaxial cable from the antenna to the television or tuner device and connect using the 75 Ω input. After connection, perform an automatic channel scan on the TV or tuner to detect available DVB‑T2/T channels and FM stations. Fine-tune antenna direction and height to obtain the best signal quality, checking signal strength and picture stability on-screen.

Recommendations

Place the antenna as high as practicable and avoid obstructions such as tall buildings or dense trees between the antenna and transmitter. Use high-quality, weather-resistant coaxial cable and secure outdoor connections with appropriate sealing. If reception remains weak, consider combining with a low-noise amplifier or consulting a professional installer for site-specific adjustments.
