Antennecontactdoos ShiverPeaks 83905-1SETLW BK+SAT 3-voudig

The ShiverPeaks antenna socket 83905-1SETLW BK+SAT 3-way is a wall-mounted indoor outlet that distributes terrestrial (BK) and satellite (SAT) signals from a single coaxial input to three outputs. Designed for residential and light commercial installations, the outlet provides a compact solution for connecting multiple receivers, set-top boxes or radios in a single room without active amplification. The device supports passive signal splitting while maintaining the expected impedance and offers a low insertion loss suitable for short in-home cable runs.

Advantages

This three-way antenna socket combines BK and SAT signal distribution in one compact unit, reducing the need for separate outlets. Its wall-mount form factor is intended for indoor installation and provides tidy cable routing and secure connections for up to three devices. The socket is engineered for low signal attenuation during passive splitting and is compatible with common coaxial cables and F-type connectors used in household television and radio setups.

Suitable for

• Distributing terrestrial TV and radio signals to multiple rooms or devices from one coaxial feed
• Connecting up to three satellite receivers, set-top boxes or compatible tuners in a single location
• Apartment or small office installations where a compact, wall-mounted 3-way outlet is required
• Passive signal splitting for short in-home cable runs without additional amplification

Key specifications

• Configuration: combined terrestrial (BK) and satellite (SAT) outputs, 3-way
• Mounting: wall-mounted, indoor use
• Signal handling: passive split from a single coaxial input to three outputs
• Insertion loss: low attenuation suitable for short cable distances
• Connections: standard coaxial/F-type compatible output and input interfaces
• Housing: compact outlet design for tidy in-wall or surface-mounted installations

How to use

Install the antenna socket into an appropriate wall box or surface mounting plate following local electrical and installation regulations. Connect the incoming coaxial feed to the socket input and attach coaxial leads from the three outputs to the respective receivers, set-top boxes or radios. Ensure connectors are tightened securely to maintain good contact and minimize signal loss. Because the unit is a passive splitter, verify signal levels at connected devices and avoid long coaxial runs that could cause degraded reception; an active amplifier may be required if signal strength is insufficient.

Recommendations

Use quality coaxial cable and properly shielded connectors to preserve signal integrity. For installations with marginal signal levels or long distances, consider measuring signal strength after installation and add an inline amplifier or distribution amplifier if necessary. Ensure the socket remains for indoor use only and protect it from moisture and extreme temperatures.
