Antennecontactdoos ShiverPeaks 83906-1SETLW – BK+2 SAT connectiviteit

The ShiverPeaks antenna socket 83906-1SETLW provides BK+2 SAT connectivity in a single wall-mounted outlet designed for combined terrestrial and dual-satellite installations. Intended for coaxial distribution, this outlet separates the terrestrial (BK) signal from two satellite (SAT) outputs, enabling connection of a TV and two satellite receivers or a multiswitch. Its compact form factor and white finish suit residential interiors, media cabinets and AV installations that require dedicated BK and dual SAT connections.

Advantages

This antenna socket offers simultaneous BK and two SAT outputs in one plate, reducing the need for multiple wall outlets and simplifying wall cabling. The design supports standard coaxial connectors and is engineered for in-home signal distribution with low insertion loss and stable contact performance. Its neutral white colour and discreet profile make it compatible with typical interior finishes while providing separate outputs for terrestrial and satellite equipment.

Suitable for

• Homes and apartments requiring one terrestrial and two satellite connections
• Living rooms and media walls with multiple receivers or a combination of TV and satellite receivers
• AV cabinets and installations where a clean, single-plate solution is preferred
• Setups using a multiswitch or direct connection of two satellite tuners

Key specifications

• Function: Combined terrestrial (BK) output plus two satellite (SAT) outputs
• Connection type: Coaxial signal distribution for TV and satellite
• Installation: Wall-mounted outlet for standard flush boxes
• Finish: White plate suitable for residential interiors
• Signal performance: Low insertion loss and stable contact for home AV use

How to use

Install the socket in a standard flush-mounted wall box following local electrical and building regulations. Connect the incoming coaxial feed to the socket’s input according to the installation diagram, ensuring the terrestrial feed and satellite feeds are wired to the correct terminals. After securing the outlet to the wall box and attaching the cover plate, connect TVs or satellite receivers to the respective BK and SAT outputs using coaxial cables. Verify signal levels on connected devices and adjust upstream splitting or amplifier settings if needed.

Recommendations

Use quality coaxial cables and properly shielded connectors to maintain signal integrity. For installations with long cable runs or multiple splits, check signal levels and consider a masthead amplifier or multiswitch to ensure reliable reception. Adhere to local regulations and safety guidelines during mounting and wiring.
