Antislip badstrip TESA 55587-02 zwart

Our waterproof anti slip adhesive tape is designed to reduce the risk of slips and falls in wet and slippery areas. The tape uses an acrylic adhesive that provides reliable bonding to surfaces such as bathtubs and shower floors. Its transparent finish integrates unobtrusively into different bathroom styles, and the chosen surface material is comfortable under bare feet. The tape meets the DIN 51097 standard and can be cut to the required length with ordinary scissors for easy installation.

Advantages

The transparent design minimizes visual impact while providing slip resistance in wet conditions. Acrylic adhesive ensures strong, long-lasting adhesion on typical bathroom surfaces. The textured surface balances grip and comfort for bare feet, and the product can be trimmed to fit curved or irregular areas. Compliance with DIN 51097 indicates suitability for barefoot use in wet rooms.

Key specifications

• Waterproof anti slip adhesive tape
• Adhesive: acrylic
• Transparent finish
• Tested to DIN 51097
• Cut-to-size with scissors

How to use

Clean and dry the surface thoroughly before application. Measure and cut the tape to the desired length with scissors. Peel off the backing and press the tape firmly onto the surface, smoothing out any air pockets. Allow the adhesive to set according to ambient conditions before use; avoid water exposure during initial adhesion time.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the tape to clean, non-oily surfaces at room temperature. Replace the tape if adhesive performance declines or if surface wear becomes noticeable. For permanent safety solutions in high-traffic wet areas, consider complementary measures such as non-slip mats or professional anti-slip treatments.
